"This is an historical property trying to stay afloat. If you like an isolated, quiet, off-the-grid experience, this is for you. Tours of the Opera House twice a day were interesting. The dark night sky was a bonus!"

"Stayed in a cabin which, although small, was perfectly adequate & comfortable. It was located near a small man-made stream with lush vegetation: a real birding hotspot. Nearby restaurant/bar was good and another plus, and the location was great for attractions in and near the west side of Death Valley."

"We stopped by at this property during our trip to Sequoia National Park. The property is amazing and the host is even more awesome and amazing. Well maintained property and the highlight was the breakfast. Amazing breakfast was made by the host. Everyone loved it. Would definitely recommend this."

"Interesting property. It is called a “guest house”. Each room has beds and bathroom. Property is beautifully manicured and has a lovely outdoor space. They have a common space with a kitchen, tables and chairs and sofas. No tv’s in room but did not miss that. It was a pleasant discovery and I will be back. "

"Kirby did a great job taking care of my needs. One night i woke up at 3AM and My son and grandson were still asleep. Not wanting to wake them I went for a ride to check the Nighttime stars in Bishop (they were great). When I returned to the hotel, I realized I did not have my card to get into my room and it was still pretty early. I went to the lobby for another card. Ended up talking to Kirby for 15 minutes. While he started getting the breakfast together he offered me something to drink and a biscuit. I watch TV for a half hour while he was getting breakfast ready and went back to my room. I was very appreciative of his help and kindness."
