"We had a great stay here. The property was a bit back from the road so noise was not an issue and the cabin was clean and set back in a wooded area making it feel almost like you were camping."
"The proprietors were charming folks and resident Alaskans. They provided a wonderful breakfast, taking into account our dietary preferences. They also were interesting in that they housed firefighters who had been working to control wildfires threatening some of Alaska's beautiful natural areas."

"Staff was great, very helpful and ready to assist with anything you need. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. The restaurant on the property is quite tasty but way over-priced. But when you're tired and it's late, it sure comes in handy. The only area for improvement would be the laundry room was slightly dirty -- from people not picking up after themselves and the smell from the septic system seemed to flare up every now and again. The property itself is lovely. I would recommend."
"Beautiful place! Loved the decor and convenient shopping. Loved Fannys restaurant and Prospect pizza was THE BOMB I did wonder why my reservations were on a Tuesday and Wednesday and on Wednesday my room charge was $200 MORE. I ask the young girl at the front desk and she just shrugged her shoulders and said it varies? Not very responsive nor helpful

"The positive for us were the following: We really enjoyed our time in the hot springs, we soaked in its waters every afternoon. Liked the fact that only adults (18+) could use it. We liked the quietness of the area and its trails. We liked that we could fill our hydroflask with water at the lobby-check in area to the springs and the water tasted great. We would stay here again 2 days max, not a whole week like we did.
For us the negatives are the following:
We have never stayed at a resort that did not have a mini fridge in the room. A mini fridge is important especially if there aren't any markets around. Eating at the ONE and ONLY restaurant in the property can be expensive. Also the restaurant did not have a lot waiters/waitresses, so being seated and served could be a while depending on the time. Juan, one of the servers, was super helpful, attentive, and shared pointers on some of the nearby trails. If you want the room to be serviced, you have to let the front desk know otherwise it will not be serviced even if you put the rag on the door.
The pool we only used it once. I didn't like that the sides of the pool looked (were) dirty.
