「There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). Lighting was dim with no bedside or desk light. There were broken loose tiles around the small pool. Service was friendly but less than prompt. Although we had only one of...

「It was expensive and the staff would not leave me alone. I closed my door to take a nap after a 38 hour flight and I received two phone calls and two separate times someone knocked on my door and then just walked in. Everywhere I went in the hotel staff were looking for a tip. I understand everyone needs to make a living but it was awful, invasive, and unprofessional. My luggage was delayed and they charged me to go to the airport and pick it up. There are much better places to stay in Lusaka」
