Toyoko Inn Takasaki Station Nishi 1

Toyoko Inn Takasaki Station Nishi 1

8/10 Good
"As reliable as any Toyoko Inn. Very close to the station- about 5min walk. We could not find an elevator from the station to the ground level for a while but located one in the bus stop area, and later in the station shopping mall area. Good room layout with free amenities, in-room kettle and fridge, microwave in lobby. The room wasn't anything spacious but efficient and does the work. Bed on the hard side. Large size pajamas available upon request. Serves rice balls for breakfast - several flavors including veggie and egg ones - it was very popular at 8:30am but they were quick to bring out more. Luggage storage is completely self serve with lockers. The only time I interacted with staff was when they pointed me to the self check-in machine, and they said thank you when I self checked out."

"Love the location and the hotel is very well maintained. The most excellent part of this place is their staff - every single one of them who my family and I interacted was professional and kind. I wished they had a mini mart or something on site tho. Also having a few more restaurants on site would be nice since it’s a very remote location. I’d go back again."

GLAMDAYSTYLE HOTEL&RESORT KYU-KARUIZAWA

"We enjoyed this hotel during a brief getaway during the summer to escape the Tokyo heat. The hotel is located in a very nice location in old Karuizawa (Kyo-Karuizawa), close to many nice restaurants and little shops, while also being very quite. Rooms are very large and modern, the hotel has its own hot spring (onsen), and high speed internet is free. Very friendly staff and a large and tasty breakfast buffer. We definitely plan to visit again."
