Loved staying here! The property was very clean and quiet and the customer service was phenomenal. The location is very convenient as there are a lot of shopping areas and places to eat. I would absolutely come here again, especially since they are decently priced.

We stayed at this hotel in early June. Unfortunately, our experience was disrupted early on Sunday morning when workers began excavating the parking lot to repave it—despite this clearly violating the local noise ordinance. When we brought the issue to the front desk, we received a saccharine apology but no effort to make things right, no compensation, and no real concern for guest comfort. We don’t recommend this hotel. If any problems arise during your stay, don’t expect resolution or accountability.

Great value for the price! The owner gave us a super friendly welcome, and was very helpful, she even stored in her fridge some food items we had between our checkout and leaving the area. It is clear that she cares a lot about the hotel and her guests! The room was spacious and very clean, we had a room away from the road and it was very quiet. The staff overall were very nice and helpful too. Would happily recommend staying at Whitman Motor Lodge, it was a much better experience than chain hotels.

When I arrived it was pouring out, I was met by Betty, who was an absolute sweetheart. She had an umbrella to lend me to get to my room without getting soaked more than I already was. The room was immaculate, the cleanest I have ever stayed in, I loved the retro style mini fridge. The only complaints I have are that there was no coffee maker in the room or any offered inside the lobby, and the shower drain didn’t properly drain so you had to stand in about an inch or two of water. Considering those are my only two issues I would absolutely stay here again, the cleanliness, hospitality and affordability are definitely worth the stay, and I would recommend anyone I know to stay here as well.

This is a hidden gem. For years, I lived nearby and recently moved away. I returned for business and was surprised how nice this motel is. Very clean and quiet. As a lone female traveling, I felt very safe and the staff were extremely nice. I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area. I will be staying here again.

Wow, what a surprise!! After checking reviews on stays in the Huntington Station, NY area; I decided to reserve with Whitmore Motor Lodge. The outside appearance was pretty much what I expected for a motor lodge, however we had a really good stay. From Ms. Betty (at the front desk), to our room; we were more than satisfied. We were there for one night, & were relieved to have such a clean, nice looking room. We had no complaints... Absolutely none! If I had to be picky, I'd point out that there are no irons (ironing boards) available in the rooms. However one call to front desk resolved this issue. Not only will I return to Whitman Lodge... I highly recommend when in the area.

The property was 20 minutes from cold spring harbor and Oyster Bay/Sagamore Hill. The motel is an older style motor inn on the Jericho Turnpike which is a busy major roadway. You would probably need to rent an air BB for a pleasant location as opposed to this busy route. The motel room was very clean with a microwave and refrigerator. The king bed was comfortable. The toilet and shower worked well. We would return as it was convenient. The price was good for 3 nights.
