「I stayed 4 nights and my room was not serviced properly. I had to get them to make my bed after I retuned daily. I cannot understand why this was not done. I did not go on a bus mans holiday to make beds I do that at home. The food was very good at breakfast. My room was well used. Toilet seat would not stay up and blind needed replacing. I was in room 2.」

「This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming.
The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome.
In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less.
We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.」

「The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in!
If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident.
Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late.」

「A band was playing until
11.10pm on Friday night which was above the legal 11pm time limit.. (this was the time I was told this would be the time the band would finish. My room was above the band- so it's worth avoiding that room! It was called
“Port”
Breakfast was ok other than the mouldly brown bread, I didn't check if the kitchen was clean.
Didn't get breakfast on the 2nd morning as I arrived downstairs at 9.15 am - doors all locked up.
The room was clean and tidy - staff friendly」
