We booked a suite for three nights over Memorial Day Weekend through Expedia, expecting a premium and comfortable stay. Upon check-in, we were shocked to find that the suite had an HVAC utility closet inside the room. The unit produced constant noise and vibrations that made it impossible to relax, let alone sleep.
When we raised this issue, hotel staff acknowledged the problem and admitted that all suites had the same setup. They offered to downgrade us to a regular room and assured us we would be compensated for the significant price difference.
However, the next day, the hotel staff reversed course — they refused to issue any refund and declined to cancel the remaining nights of our stay. Despite the clear misrepresentation and disruption, they provided no resolution.
To make matters worse, Expedia support has been equally unhelpful. We reached out expecting assistance, but their team offered no meaningful support or intervention, leaving us stranded and frustrated during a holiday weekend.
This experience was unacceptable across the board. Between the misleading listing, the hotel’s broken promises, and Expedia’s lack of support, I would strongly caution others before booking through this platform or at this hotel.
