"Lovely B&B with excellent staff, big bright comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfast. Guest parking is also a plus. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend "
"Wonderful staff and excellent food. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, both meals were spectacular. The proprietor really seemed to care that we had a great stay, which we did. "
"Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced...

"The hotel is tired but do not let that fool you. What it lacks in appearance it makes up for in good service and friendliness.
The room is dated but clean and the linen was spotless.
The food was excellent. The man on reception also served at the bar could not do enough for you.
The hotel is quirky but for the price and a decent nights sleep it was good enough for us"
"Very nice and modern hotel in the centre of Newcastle with everything on the doorstep. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the place was spotless. The breakfast option was tasty and plentiful and the dining area was clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have Worcestershire sauce as an option, it would have made all the difference!
The room was quiet (as requested) and the bed was very comfortable. It was very warm so the air conditioning was welcome. The only downside to the room was the lack of a fridge/mini bar to keep things cool which I would expect as standard. Other than that, I can’t fault this hot and would recommend it."

The lady greeting us and showing us to our room, was lovely and made us feel welcome from the outset.
I’m not sure if this lady is the owner, but she was always busy and appeared to show genuine concern that guests needs were being taken care of.
Room was large and comfortable, with all amenities required.
Attached bar/ restaurant was comfortable and served a range of well priced meals and drinks.
We didn’t use it, but the outside dining area looked lovely."
