Just a terrific stay! Bar and restaurant were nice and staff were exceptional, especially Charlotte! Room was nice and bathroom was beautiful. Backed onto an old church and cemetery.

Great location, great service, great food

Fantastic place, well located near Hadrians Wall, with wonderful staff who couldn’t be more helpful. Really excellent evening meal with local beers on draught. List of local ingredients. The breakfast choice was great from berry compote to full Northumberland breakfast!

Decent place.

It's a good little place to stay if, for whatever reason, you find yourself in the area. The rooms were decent and the attached restaurant served a good breakfast. I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Excellent weekend break

A gem of a hotel in a great location for Hadrians Wall, food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly helpful and efficient. We would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.

Wonderful inn experience

Loved the stay. Clean room. Fantastic dinner and breakfast. Great location within a mile of Hadrian’s Wall. Nice for hiking. Would stay at hotel again.

Hotel was lovely, a little bit noisy at times from other guests, having tv on bit loud etc, but staff were really lovely and food was absolutely 5*

Greenhead Hotel was excellent! The dinner, breakfast and pack lunches were superb. The rooms had comfortable beds and lovely duvet bedding and included all the amenities. It was close to Hadrian's wall. We would highly recommend the Greenhead hotel for your stay, while in Greenhead.

An overnight stopover on a long car journey.

Overnight stop-over in the quiet village of Greenhead. Warm welcome and a well appointed and comfortable room. Good evening meal and a fine breakfast. NIce bar with a range of draught beers. A well run and very clean hotel.
