Langley Castle Hotel

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful stay. All of the staff was a pleasure to talk with. We stayed in the tower suit on the fifth and top floor. Be aware there is no elevator but they do have a small lift for your suitcase and staff can bring up for you. The lounge and bar area was beautiful to sit in. We also had dinner at the castle and it was fantastic. the chef prepared us some extra dishes that were delicious we felt like we were treated like royalty. At 1015 every day they do a tour of the castle and talk about the history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept it fun and light hearted. The grounds also has peacocks we had a fun time walking around looking for them. Over all it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it."

"The bedroom was excellent,clean well furnished and appointed. The only small criticism was that there was a lack of comfortable space away from the restaurant space and bar but as we were only staying one night this didn’t matter too much. The breakfast was excellent and the bar food,whereas it was well prepared, was a little limited in choice. We would however stay again."

"Don’t bring a cat - there’s no room to swing it in the bedroom. And the TV was comically small. That being said, it was clean and tidy and the food excellent. Staff also very friendly."

"Accurately advertised. You can literally see a mile castle on Hadrian’s Wall from your room. Beautiful country views. A problem with our heat was addressed immediately. Excellent dinner choices and service in the cozy pub. "

"Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again. "
