5 min walk to Waikiki beach. Lots of restaurants, food trucks and shops nearby. Right in the heart of Waikiki and very safe at all hours of the day. Easy check-in/out. Would stay here again.

We were very impressed with our accomodations. Sure, it wasn't the lap of luxury, but we were very satisfied and found the value in it. My parents, who stayed in a 5 star hotel, saw the value in having a 1 bedroom, fully furnished apartment. They were impressed as well, and are thinking that the next time we all go on vacation, they will look into booking similar accommodations. My fiancé and I were very satisfied.

Room was old (popcorn ceiling old), water leaks under the sink, shower tiles were dirty, AC wouldn’t work in the middle of the night so we were super hot halfway through the night, and no screens on doors or windows so can’t open those without mosquitos… website listing shows pool and hot tub, but it has been under construction and unavailable for over a year. Parking was supposed to be free also, but they just started a new parking fee after stating parking is included. Check in was weird, in a small office on the 4th floor…

We didn’t come as a family but it seems that there were a lot of families staying here. If you’re looking for a place that has a pool and rec area…move along! They’re renovating the pool so that’s not an option. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the fine print. The building itself is kinda dated. The unit was okay - also dated. But it’s okay. Only thing I had a problem with is the lack of detail in cleaning — like the corners and exhaust fans full of dust balls. Easy enough to clean, but somehow overlooked. The desk agents at the Hawaiian Sun office are great though! Accommodating and friendly.

We were there this February. The room space is great. Everything needs to be upgraded, furniture and appliances. Very old. Rusting on the side of refrigerator and inside the freezer and stove. The sliding door was impossible to open and didn’t lock. Contacted management several times with no response. After trying for five days to reach a manager, a repairman came to put a new latch on the door but still needed new parts for the door to slide properly. The safe wasn’t working. Had to have someone put new batteries in it. Things that should have been noticed by the cleaning staff definitely not picked up on. I would not book with this company in future, as their manager is terrible and doesn’t seem to work on site during stated office hours and doesn’t seem to take your concerns seriously. Very poor customer service overall.

The unit was clean, well-appointed and view was great (looking toward the mountains). Check-in went smoothly, but was a little complicated. Gerard, the coordinator, was terrific and went out of his way to make sure everything went well.

Fantastic location, spacious room, and having a kitchen was great. They are remodeling right now so expect a fire alarm to go off once a week, and the pool is out of commission for the time being, but having the beach 2 blocks away makes it no big deal.

Checked in was easy as per follow the instruction that given on the email. Room is clean. Had 1 incident that the battery on the door is out. Gerrard was helpful to come and changed the battery. The Location is the very good to the beach (less than 5 minutes) and walking to the center of Waikiki is 5-10 minutes. The daily FREE Parking that included was a BONUS, very rare in Waikiki area.

Great spot to stay for the value! Close to the beach. Easy check in and a fully equipt kitchen. Free parking was a huge added bonus as well. We were even offered to borrow beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. The rooms are a little dated, but for someone who doesn't spend much time in the room, it was perfect. The bed was very cozy.

Staff are responsive; room is clean; there’s a leak under the sink and repair was done within the day; the whole 6th floor was under construction so no pool; parking is included- a $50/day for free!!

Overall, it’s a decent place — not super clean, but fairly quiet, and it has everything you need. There were no issues with parking or the room. The pool is under renovation.
