The property is gorgeous, on a wonderful beach, and has everything. We loved the waterslides, great restaurants, comfy beds, and beautiful sunsets. We will definitely be back!!
Loved the resort, staff, cleanliness, and location, but you can tell its age. The pools need some work, elevators, even the TV in the room is old and outdated.
This was a lovely stay. We ended up in the Napua wing and it truly was great. The staff was very kind and remembered our names instantly. A lazy river should come with every hotel hahaha!
The hotel was amazing from check in to check out. Staff was super helpful, and always asking if they can assist. The pools, beach, and grounds were all beautiful and easy to use.
I’m still dreaming of our time at the Waldorf, we definitely needed a few more nights to enjoy everything the property has to offer. From our room, to dinning options, all the pools, spa, and beach access…time really slows down in the best way possible.
Only thing that was upsetting was we were unaware of the complementary photography session. That would’ve been very memorable
It’s a great resort . The only disappointment was a couple things were closed like the game room , Tarzan swing . And the water elevator is no longer in operation.
But the staff was great . The pools are great . The aesthetic is great .
Food is wildly expensive at any of the restaurants related to the resorts so better off grabbing food at a local spot
Service was amazing during our stay. My wife forgot her new Maui hoodie in the closet and four days after we were home it just showed up in the mail from the hotel. Next level service!
Property was perfect, restaurants were expensive but amazing!
The room was a nice size spacious. The staff was very accommodating. The pools were beyond fanatic. The hotel property is beautiful. We definitely enjoyed our staff.
The grounds and pools were spectacular. Fun, short water slides were enjoyed by our group ages 1, 44,37.74 and 78. Meandering paths were blissful. Beach was warm but rocky/coral bottom but the snorkeling was great. Staff was exceptional . Food was good, but not as good as it was in the past. At this type of resort I was expecting exceptional. I thought it was a bit gouging when they had only a limited amount of folding beach chairs available and the loungers and umbrellas were pricey. Because we were a large family with a baby and grandparents we opted for a cabana. We found out that they used "surge" pricing and it wound up to be $500 and $640 for the two days. After paying approximately $1000 a day for a standard garden room King, I was offended at the upsell costs of resort fees which were supposed to cover beach cruisers, but they weren't available the week we were there. Location was great as we could walk to the Four Seasons and Fairmont for dinner. It was fun, kbut not worth the money.
Take the option to upgrade to the Napau level if offered. Free breakfast, afternoon drinks & small bites for dinner. Saves hundreds of dollars a day. Everyone welcomes you as a guest! House keeping, pool staff, grounds keepers & everyone else. The only thing we didn’t like were the birds in the lounge and the fact that my wife always felt like we wee almost out of toilet paper. An extra roll of TP in the room would calm this anxiety. Not sure why they don’t provide an extra roll. The grounds are perfect, the pools clean, the beach & the ocean are perfect. We can’t say enough positive things. Even after 10 days, we didn’t want to leave.
Very beautiful grounds and friendly staff. It was very crowded. Small pool and lots of people. All restaurants were booked, with the exception of quick service poolside bar & grill.
