「The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

「I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.」

「One of the best B&B experience for many years. Both the accomodation and the environment is unbeatable. I will stay again if going to be in the region. 」

「Efficient and friendly staff, clean rooms with all the facilities you need. Evening meal and service was excellent couldn’t fault my stay would definitely recommend.」

「Although much about this property is dated, the warmth of its welcome, the high quality of its food, and the ease of parking (for £4 a day in the carpark across the road) make this a five star stay.」

「Lovely property -- a lot of stais to get to rooms, but a very nice location」

「Door was already unlocked when we arrived 28th Oct even though key was in secure unit which seemed a bit strange considering the place is shut on a Wednesday. Main light didn't work only table lamp.」

「The guest house was impeccable, with excellent communication and information regarding its location and local attractions provided even before our arrival. Truly exceptional service. Upon our arrival, everything was beautiful. The entire house was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed a lovely country walk into Ironbridge, and convenient parking was available at the property. Our room was immaculate, offering tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels and a selection of pillows...

「Norma was absolutely wonderful, helpful and efficient. The accommodation was clean and tidy, shower was great. Breakfast was well varied and tasty. Evening meal was excellent. Bar and staff were good. Will be visiting again 😊」

「Hotel and room was very clean. Soap, shampoo and conditioner smelt amazing. Surprisingly quiet, considering that our room was facing the main street. Breakfast was great. However, pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, mattress not the best either. I hardly had any sleep, as I could not get comfortable. Food prices are reasonable, but quality of food fairly poor. I had a beef burger 🍔 but did not enjoy it. Cheap burger bun and burger itself. Chips were nice」

「Good size room, lovely breakfast with amazing views and friendly helpful staff」

「A wonderful hotel, everything was super nice, the room, (given a upgrade), the food outstanding, and the friendliest you could have ever meet. Definitely will book when next in the area.」

「Lovely hotel room was clean, breakfast was excellent, evening meal was excellent too, great location」

「The AC was broken down in the entire wing in the heat of summer. Staff brought fans but that did not help as the windows couldn’t open either. My family and I had no sleep or rest during our entire stay.」
