This was a great stay and hope to book in the future! The rooms are larger than expected and the hotel staff were so kind. The only issues was that the elevator (lift) was not working the whole stay which made it hard to carry luggage.

It was very tastefully done and breakfast service and presentation was lovely.

Very nice setting, big garden and a wonderful charming hotel.

This Little inn above the pub was so charming. The room was fantastic, cozily decorated and had a big window. The weather was perfect, and we were able to have the window open. Caution with the window open, it can be a little noisy from the pub downstairs. But no worries on that. We enjoyed hearing folks having lots of fun! It's also conveniently located and easily walkable to the old town. And of course, gorgeous Beach.

This property is unbelievably beautiful and comfortable. Easy on street parking and close to the sea front and good restaurants. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend staying and experiencing Victorian living at its best.

A lovely little boutique hotel in the countryside near Hastings. Possibly a work in progress, the owners have been working tirelessly for several years to get it to the current state, but we were very happy with it. Clean room and bathroom, helpful staff, complimentary tea and coffee, very close both to the railway station and the city center

Hit all boxes and amazing services

This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops. The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent. Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy) All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area

great place

Perfect location and room. Very good breakfast and front desk staff tried very hard despite seeming inexperienced. It is overall a perfect choice for Rye.

Clean, friendly, and centrally located, and near to shops and restaurants. Excellent value.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming, family-owned hotel in Eastbourne. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel incredibly welcome — they are warm, kind, and absolute masters of hospitality. It's clear they truly belong in this industry. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and their passion for providing a great guest experience shines through. The highlight of each day was the breakfast — it was nothing short of professional-level quality. Beautifully prepared,...
