"There was a slight confusion with the room allocation, which the reception staff on Friday evening rectified with consideration and courtesy. The room was prepared to a very high standard. Our stay was for two night's (bed/breakfast). The buffet style breakfast was to a very high standard, fresh and hot. All the hotel staff were courteous, polite and deticated to delivering a perfect customer experience. Would recommend this hotel very highly. "

"House was OK, some bits poorly maintained in the house and were reported but little response, piles of rubbish outside, garden a mess. Overall it could be better but it was usable, I wouldn’t return. Local area is OK, lots of shops etc. "

"For the bargain price we paid (I think £57) we could not fault this hotel. Free parking and only a 17 min walk to a gig we'd booked at The Picturedrome. Comfy bed, adequate shower, lots of tea/coffee, warm."

"Typical country pub, great room. Great sunday roast and also a superb breakfast with good service. Parking local to pub. Good facilities and WIFI available, TV on aerial, so not great, but not a problem with other media available."
