「Booking was effortless through Expedia. We were greeted at the door by Pat, the owner. He gave us a quick tour and set a combo code to the front door of the house of our choosing. There is an open snack and coffee area, and "trail magic" shelf full of items that a hiker might need without a store nearby. The shared bathroom was WELL stocked. 「I booked a room with a hot tub however, when I got there, it was not a hot tub, but a whirlpool tub inside of the bathroom. It was definitely not worth the $40 up charge. On top of that the only vending machine robbed us of $5 and the breakfast area was cute but not very well stocked and the waffle maker doesn’t work properly. It wasn’t a horrible stay but not what I expected. 」

「We had a very lovely 1 nt stay while receiving local VA services. We were early arriving, so 1st went to the Player’s Club desk w/ our Veteran IDs, where we were automatically upgraded to “Legend” status. We had lunch at the HR cafe & couldn’t have had friendlier service & b/c it was “Military Monday”, our lunch was 25% off! Hubby liked the mahi sandwich (we split) more than I did, but the fries were spot on.」

Comes with free breakfast which is home made eggs bacon and biscuits and gravy and a few sides. Way better than the same usual hotel breakfast.
