「A unique property overlooking the stadium. Huge room which felt nicer than being cramped. The best bit? The breakfast that goes on to 11am. We were in Milton Keynes for an all day festival and so many hotels finish breakfast at 9.30 or 10am....which when you're out late and quite frankly, hungover, you can't always eat that early. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great place!」

「Amazingly large and typically quaint old coaching inn under new and energetic management. We stayed because of proximity to Althorp House. Stand out feature is the food at typical pub prices but far from typical. It was superb and makes it a destination in itself. Such a pleasant change to eat real home cooking and not some chilled and reheated offering. Full English breakfast included in room rate and also superb. 」
