10/10 Excellent
"It was very relaxing with an onsen downstairs and a lounge upstairs. The capsule rooms were very clean and comfortable, with outlets for your things, a personal fan and ac, and a sliding door."
"Staying at this property was truly an incredible experience. My wife and I (American tourists visiting Japan for the first time) stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was so friendly, especially the wonderful staff in the 6th floor restaurant. Our room, a 12-tatami was spacious and comfortable with a great view of the lake and mountains. Each room comes equipped with everything you need to make green tea and wake up with the sun. The 6th floor restaurant boasts views of Mount Fuji on a clear day with excellent food and service. The public bath is comfortable, clean, and hot! 10/10 experience.
As for the area around the hotel, we were so amazed by the quiet, lush, and serene town of Tokorozawa. We walked to a Seibu Lions baseball game, the forest that inspired Totoro, and several local parks. It was a great experience of “small town” Japan that is very different from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo city. "
"This is an excellent area to stay. A short walk from the station, a convenience store nearby and lots of little ‘hole in the wall’ type bars and places to eat. The property itself, although smallish by western standards, is plenty big enough and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!"
