Western castle style 5 stars hotel, staff perfectly nice and helpful. Not air- conditioned is the only consideration, a bit hot during summer time.」

「Instead of staying in busy Interlaken, I decided to treat the family to Beatenberg Resort and Spa, which looks amazing on website. Sadly, the website must be AI generated or 20 years old. Pros: staff were friendly, though I only saw two, at separate times. The hotel is clean, for the most part, but our bathroom had a very unpleasant odour and we literally had to ‘mouth breathe’ or feel nauseous. The views of the Alps from back of hotel are spectacular. 「Staff was amazing, great location and property. My only gripe is flies, yes flies EVERYWHERE. In the restaurant and room. We left windows open for 20 minutes and counted 12 flies on the room. Dinner, there were easily 10 flies at our table alone. This is common in the area so I don’t blame the hotel. I was told the cows are the reason」

「The place is a bit run down. The bed was very soft and the food can be better. In general, great location right opposite the train station and very near the cable card.」

「It is a very cozy place to stay. The staffs are very nice and would give good travel recommendations. It takes 10mins walk to the station or you can take the bus for free. The room is clean and large, sufficient tools for cooking various type of dishes.」
