The lady working there was very busy, but still very welcoming and friendly, she gave me a free drink on arrival and offered me a bottle of water on departure, and the room was cosy and comfortable. And the view from the balcony really was incredible - they're not lying when they say they have the best view in Spiez!

Dear Team, I recently stayed at your hotel in Spiez and wanted to share some feedback about my experience. Firstly, I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the warm welcome from your staff. However, I did notice a few areas that could be improved. The room did not have air conditioning, nor was there a minibar, which I found a bit inconvenient. Additionally, I felt that the pricing was quite high for the services provided. The breakfast was also underwhelming, with limited variety and quantity. I think it is a hotel with a nice atmosphere and good hospitality. Upon arrival, they offered us welcome drinks. I was grateful and it was delicious since I was thirsty. There is also a bottle of filtered drinking water in the room. Moreover, there is a shared kettle and espresso machine in the hallway. It is nice to be able to drink coffee or tea freely. The room is spacious and the bed is large. There is also a shared terrace where you can eat and drink what you bring with you. The rooms are not air-conditioned, so it is a little difficult to sleep on hot days. If you sleep with the windows open, insects will enter the room, and security is also a concern. However, enjoying the inconveniences of travel should also be part of the experience. As for the daytime, opening the windows allows a breeze to come in, keeping the room cool. The large windows that can open are a pleasant feature. One disappointment regarding room cleaning was that the drain in the shower room was not adequately cleaned, so the next day the water drain was clogged and the water did not drain. At checkout, they gave us bottles of drink water. Overall, it was a hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, friendly and kind staff. The front desk staff were approachable.

Absolutely loved this hotel and Spiez..highly recommend this gem. My husband and I were so sad to leave…clean, peaceful and views are breathtaking.

The hotel itself was excellent. It gave us amazing scenary from the hotel, within walking distance to the lake. The only but big problem was when checking in. I arrived shortly after 6pm, and the reception, entrance door was closed. The note at the door sent they have sent a password to me by email, to unlock the entrance door. However, I have not received it and needed to call the number indicated in the note to get a guidance on how to unlock. It was stressful and as I am from outside EU, it cost me not a cheap amount as it was an international telephone call.

This was a very lovely, clean and safe hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The cafe and meals were delicious. The view was breathtaking. The hotel was close to the train station, restaurants, shops, and not far from the bay where you could take boat rides. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
