Just a lovely apartment - safe, 10 min drive from the town center, pool, beaches were close by and the ocean right behind! Kitchen was well equipped, balcony was beautiful, parking was plenty and mainly it was central to almost everything. We loved everything about the property. We also got pool towels, which was included in the resort fee, and we could take it anywhere and we can return them later.

The most beautiful resort we have ever stayed in. Amenities on amenities and incredibly kind staff.They upgraded our room which was so generous and the view was to die for. So peaceful! We loved our time here as we were attending a wedding on the property. Do be warned the dining options are very expensive and there aren’t many affordable options near the property.

I stayed at the Fairmont Orchid Gold and left very disappointed. I paid over $1,000 per night expecting a true luxury experience, but the reality was far from it. The rooms are extremely standard, nothing special at all. They advertise them as “renovated,” but honestly, they look average and unimpressive. For this price point, I expected something far more modern, comfortable, and unique. Service across the hotel was also not what you would expect from a so-called world-class resort. Most of the staff did not seem very attentive or welcoming. It often felt like guests were an afterthought rather than the priority. The only exception was Laura at the Gold Front Desk, who was outstanding. She was professional, warm, and truly helpful. Unfortunately, one great employee doesn’t make up for the lack of service overall. Yes, the property itself is nice, but it is nowhere near what the hotel’s reputation and marketing suggest. It is not the level of luxury or service you would expect for the money charged. Bottom line: This hotel is overpriced for what it offers. It is okay at best, but definitely not worth the premium. I left feeling like I wasted a lot of money on an experience that was just average.
