「While the bed in the hotel room was clean and presentable there were many issues encountered in the hotel. First, the toilet seat lid would not stay upright while in use unless it was held up by hand. Second the carpeting and amenities were dated. Third, the bathroom sink water came out cold whether the handle was on hot or cold. Finally, when I went to the front desk to purchase several items, there was a "Cash Only" sign as they had no ability to utilize credit cards. When I presented...

「It was a functionally nice, extremely clean hotel. The staff was very friendly (shout out to Crystal at the front desk) and the morning breakfast delivered way more than expected. But there should be more than DirectTV that loses signal when it rains, especially at the higher rate we paid because of the graduation events happening in the area. Also no iron in the room. Would I go back? Yes but I’d take my laptop so I can watch streaming services the hotel doesn’t have.」

「Bedroom was fine - reasonably comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a different story. Hairs in the shower when we arrived so obviously had not been cleaned. Bathroom wreaked of cat pee. Hot water was barely lukewarm - goosebumps in the shower. When we addressed the water with the staff, the response was “well we are full”. Unacceptable answer. 」

「There were no amenities except a bottle of water when we checked in. There was no soap, etc in the bathroom and only 2 towels for 3 of us. The parking lot was in poor shape. There were holes in curtains which let light in and the bed spread were thread-bare. We paid a couple of hundred dollars but did not feel safe.」

「We were stayed the night for a VA Tech graduation so it was adequate for our needs. It was not fancy or real nice but clean enough and close enough to the campus to make sense. The walls are super thin and not only could we hear the neighbors all night, but the housekeepers got in a huge fight in the hallway before 9am the following morning. Two women were yelling at each other and dropping F bombs about vacuuming. Very disruptive and unprofessional. Otherwise, it was fine. No elevator but...

「Eventhough we booked through Expedia, a warning about the train horns, and noise at wee hours of the night would help with planning to choose this hotel, coupled with paper thin walls. Breakfast was pretty good. Room size, and double sinks were good.」
