I checked the reviews carefully and ended up booking this apartment because of the location and the ample sleeping space for our family of 4. I liked the look of the loft space for the kids and figured it would give us a good idea of what it might be like to live in an apartment in Hanoi. The property is very charming and "vintage" is the perfect description, you get a feeling of age when you're in the space. The AC works, the beds are reasonably comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, if a little sparse on cutlery. We did have some hot water pressure issues but only on day 3 of our stay, the previous 2 days there was lots of hot water and the shower was great. Note that the front door lock is sticky and there's a trick to get in! When you're tired and it's late it's a bit tricky! The owner is helpful and a good communicator, we had no trouble checking in or checking out. Overall it was a nice sanctuary in the city for us for a few days.

Hanoi Old Town

Very handy Apartment to the French Quarter. Should have read the conditions that it was on the 5th floor with no elevator. My fault. Great to have a washing machine. Had some issues with the hot water, and water pressure. Overall, an honest budget priced apartment close to everything.

Be Aware

The apartment is dark and on the 5th floor with no lift. I know it is cheap but I did expect a hot shower and a bit of comfort. The water pressure is not sufficient to force the hot water out unless you stoop really low and no hot water into sink/basin. The sink and cooking stuff were dirty and there was no housekeeping during our 6 night stay (because of TET maybe?)

잠만자기도 아까운 아파트

아파트가 5층에 위치하는데 엘리베이터가 없습니다. 짐이있어 힘들었습니다. 냉장고는 제대로 작동안되고 냉동실만 작동되었습니다. 가스렌지는 라이터 없이 불을 켤수 없었습니다. 음식을 해먹기가 불편했습니다. 이불은 갈아주지 않는듯했으며 에어컨도 그리 시원하지는 않했습니다. 중요한것은 매일 청소비용으로 10만동씩을 요구했습니다.

Living like locals

Aside from the hot water unable to last more than a few minutes and the construction in the adjacent lot, this apartment gave us the feel that we were locals living in Hanoi. The apartment was clean, towels were provided for us and the kitchen was equipped with the necessities to make a meal. It's a great apartment option for those who are planning an extended stay. The southern edge of the Old Quarter was only a few blocks away and an easy walk to get to. We didn't find the distance inconvenient, it was a nice opportunity to see more of the city by foot. Mr. Tuti was able to organize airport drop off for us so we had peace of mind that we'd make our flight and didn't have to worry about finding a trusted taxi service in this residential area.

베트남 현지집 체험^^

외관은 베트남 현지집이라 깜짝놀랐는데ㅡ,ㅡ 안에는 사진과 똑같습니다 아담하고 깔끔합니다 있는동안 벌레도 못봤고 에어컨도 빵빵하구여 단 수압이 넘 약한 욕실과 엘리베이터가 없는 5층,냉장고가 조금 지저분했다는 ㅠㅠ 시내중심부 5분도 않걸리고 주민들이 다 친절합니다 건물2층에 한국분이 살더라구여^^ 호스트도 친절했는데 제 영어실력이 짧아 잘 못알아들어서 길게 대화는 못했구여 여행기간내내 잘 지내다 왔습니다
