「Our room was not heated, and it was a cold, rainy day. No one knew how to turn the heat on, but eventually the Lodge's caretaker called and was able to explain how to turn on the radiator. Later, the power went out (not their fault! It went out throughout the town!), so we lost heat again.
That said, staff were friendly and really went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. They truly went the extra mile. We were able to get our food at the restaurant before the power went out...

「It’s clear the owners take pride in maintaining the property, as everything was clean and well kept. The lobby in particular was very clean and had a fresh scent.
The hotel is in a great location, with several dining options nearby. It’s also especially convenient for visiting nearby colleges, and we appreciated being able to avoid heavy traffic when leaving. Overall, a well-located and well-maintained place to stay.」
