"The room service was the worst. Ordered chicken noodle soup. When it arrived it tasted like it came from the can so I called the front desk and to tell them this and asked why it tasted unseasoned. I was told that it was from a Campbell soup can which absolutely threw me. "

"I have stayed here once before and didnt have the same experience. I'm going to share the negatives then positives of this room. I felt i got an 'Expedia' room. Or one that had not been checked in a while. There was a water bottle behind the bedside table, dirty towels thrown in the closet I'm sure housekeeping didn't see. The clean towels smelled like they had been cooked near- if that makes sense. Like I made myself dirty again after using. The matress isnt my favorite. It's not saggy- it's firm, but it's pretty bouncy and when my partner moved I boinged around. Loved that there was a microwave and fridge and that the windows opened on the first floor. It was quiet and reception was pleasant. The breakfast and the usual goodies. I felt like it was safe here, and the reception area was pretty. The shower was powerful enough, and drained well. Maybe i just had a weird room. Maybe no one had checked it in ages. Maybe they need to give housekeeping more time to clean each room. I would stay here again, but I'll always look for a better deal at other 2 star hotels first."

"Such a wonderful place to stay on our road trip from San Francisco to San Diego! Missed the wine and cheese party by 5 minutes, but the gracious front desk agent and happy hour host gave us a complimentary glass of wine 🙂 after our 6-7 hour drive. The "continental breakfast" was far better than most "breakfast buffets"! There were made to order waffles, premade omelets, sausage links, oatmeal, cereals, fruits, coffee, juices, bagels, breads, muffins, and more- delicious! The rooms were spacious with multiple outles, coffee station, fridge, safe, renovated bathroom, cozy seating area, unexpected balcony, and UNEXPECTED fireplace with a timer. Just too many more things to list. Great, helpful, friendly staff. Good location. Definitely recommend this place!"
