「Smoke detector was chirping when I entered my room. After two calls to the front desk, the clerk came to my room, took it off the wall, removed the battery and left it on the dresser. The provided hairdryer didn’t not work. And one of my towels had black stuff all over it, and one of the washcloths had what looked like a blood stain! Finally, had to depart a day early due to a family issue, and after talking to the front desk, Expedia, and the hotel manager Friday morning, I was unable to...

「Drastically overrated on Expedia, this property is more in line with a 3-star rating or less. A roadside motel by the interstate in bf Virginia, the grounds were filthy, the room was poorly maintained with a cracked sink, an industrial-style gas station toilet and a noisy AC unit. There are other options in the immediate area -- avoid this dump.」

「Spark by Hilton was perfectly suited for a quick overnight stay. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the basics needed for an overnight were supplied. The room lacked a personal coffee pot which required an early morning trip to the lobby, but for the money I spent, I was pleased.」
