「George was the perfect host. He drove us down to the ocean where the restaurants are located several times. There was a fruit salad waiting for us on the fridge when we arrived. He gave us grapes from his garden on another day. He gave us advice on getting around the area by bus and regaled us with stories about Greece and his past. 」

「San Salvatore is a fantastic property, very historical yet done up to a very high standard. It is in a very quiet area but very close/within a walking distance to the city centre in Chania and with a great views across to Chania harbour and the lighthouse. 「This location is falsely advertised on booking websites and does not provide clear and transparent description of where it is located. We were charged for a room the was not utilized. The location displayed on the booking websites shows in Raches but it is actually located in Agios Kirykos. This was only discovered after a non-refundable booking was completed. Horrible experience - PLEASE stay away. 」
