Quite remote Grasslands National Park in the south of Saskatchewan has bisons and a vast but gorgeous landscape of gorges, grassy hills and meadows . We visited the park for its herd of wild bisons which we found mostly grazing far away from the main road but luckily we happened on some individuals all by themselves far from the group only mere meters from the road ...an immense feeling of surprise and satisfaction to have this big one calmly posing for me !
