「Our room was perfect for us, a good size and lovely and quiet. Corridors were quiet and the floor did not creak as you walked along so we slept very well. Bed was very good, pillows less so. Hotel is in an excellent location for walking down the canal, ponds and woods, lots of green space just a walk away. The food at the restaurant was not as good as we were hoping but there are 2 very good pubs very close which served very good food. All in all though, for us, a very enjoyable stay」

「The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)」

「We had a fantastic stay at The Barnsdale, such a beautiful, relaxing and picturesque venue. We enjoyed use of the spa, which is beautifully done, small and intimate. Evening meal in the Brasserie was delicious with fabulous service and breakfast was just as delicious, with lots of choice and was well organised. All staff were very polite and helpful, especially the lovely lady on reception. The welcome glass of wine on arrival was such a lovely touch. Only disappointment was that the king...
