Slottet er under renovering, og man fornemmer at de nye ejere gør meget ud af, at alle detaljer er perfekte. Den værelsesfløj vi boede i var færdigrenoveret, og værelset var meget stort og velindrettet med sans for de små detaljer. Til værelset var der en terrasse med udsigt over søen. "A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."
