Everything about the hotel was great, except for the lack of compassion shown by the reception staff. My daughter was unwell, and I requested an early check-in so she could rest. While I was told that the room wasn't ready and we were placed on priority, I only received a message at 2:50 PM for a 3:00 PM check-in.
Given the size of the hotel, it’s hard to believe that no room could be made available sooner. We had just visited a GP who provided a medical certificate, and we were prepared to show it. While I understand that hotels have policies around check-in times, a little empathy and flexibility in such circumstances would have gone a long way.
Thankfully, a family friend nearby allowed my daughter to rest at their place. Unfortunately, due to her condition, she remained uneasy and couldn’t enjoy any of the theme parks during our visit.
