"Our room had unobstructed views over lake Te Anau, lovely new 2 bedroom unit, clean and spacious and comfortable. Good kitchen with hob, stove, microwave and most cooking utensils.
Use of the holiday parks laundry was coin operated machines, some with detergent.
Short walk to the bird park.
About a 20 minute walk to the Main Street of town

"We did make a mistake booking as I didn’t realize this was like a camp ground. That being said the bathrooms were not very clean and were frigid cool. I never did try to take a shower there. Cobwebs everywhere and the laundry area at least half of the machines were broken. I found the sponges and towels to use in kitchen area to be dirty and worn out. Not sure if staff makes sure dishes are clean from last guest as I found a nasty dirty dish in our cupboard. Bed was ok and cabin did get warm and area was quiet. It did seem like there were plenty of people there but I wouldn’t stay here again."

"The price was good, the rooms were nice and large. Rooms and hotel in general are older, but in reasonable condition.
Not really soundproof, as it was at times quite noisy from the hall or adjacent rooms.
Fine for a short stay.
Apparently, there is a restaurant on site, but only open depending on the number of guests staying at the hotel. Not to matter, plenty of dining options in town."
