「I made reservations to stay at this hotel, and paid in full, over 2 months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 pm to check in and drop off our bags, they did not have our reservation. I had paper copies, and emails, showing that we had in fact reserved a room. The manager had zero interest in trying to solve the problem and told us he couldn’t help us and there were no rooms available. This was our first day in Europe after an overnight flight from the US. 「We went in off-season so the place was quiet and in a lovely location; a small quaint town. The room was large, however, the floor had a very loud creak when you walked across it. Not just small creak, very loud so that I was worried I'd wake my son or the people downstairs when I got up at night. There was no hair dryer in the room and I would have to go find the proprietor to get one so I didn't bother (no phone). No shampoo or lotion either. This would all be okay if it was a cheaper...
