「Hot tub was nice. Handy to have the flipflops. Quiet. Enough room facilities. Bed comfort nice. Parking great. Easy 2min walk to pubs/food. Preferred the feathers pub next door and breakfast at the old police station. 」

「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」

「Staff efficient but robotic and lacked empathy. Bedroom tired and the lighting was inadequate when applying make-up. Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential! Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned 」

「There was no breakfast available even though it was part of the deal and no chef to cook a dinner. In view of the lack of food I checked out and went elsewhere. The Globe staff were very friendly and understanding and told me to contact you for a refund which I am doing.」

「After a full day of walking what a treat the Station House was! Beautifully decorated room, comfortable bed, lots of hot water, the use of the common room, a informative book about the property and local suggestions as well as a cafe of delicious food.」

「Very cozy cottage, well equipped, very quiet area. 5 min walk to a local pub - food and drink. Lots of small villages with local shops (bakers, butchers, delis, etc.) to explore close by. Lot of walking trails. Parking was easy. Check in and out were simply and without hassle.」

「"Great for a female solo traveller I took myself off to Devon for a well needed solo break." The Loft was cosy and clean. I felt very safe there, the location is brilliant for other beauty spots like Salcombe and Totnes. Lukesland Gardens is worth a visit too. The loft itself has lovely skylights that you can see so many stars from on a clear night. Good facilities and the wifi didn't fail me either as I needed to work from my laptop during the time I stayed. You have to visit The Ring Feeder...
