"The hotel had character but felt tired and rundown; definitely needs money spending on it. Hotel restaurant was average for breakfast; there were better options outside, but avoid the Pancake Manor! The location was good as restaurants, shops and public transport were all nearby."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The location is very central and easy to get around. I note that they are currently building a new metro station next door so it will be even easier in future. It’s an easy walk to the botanical gardens, the river and the bridge across to Southbank. The shower was great and the toiletries provided smelt wonderful. "
