「The Savoy Palace was absolutely amazing in every way - from the decor, cleanliness, style, ambiance, the grounds, the customer service to the food! Every single employee that we encountered showed such professionalism, warmth, and kindness. The front desk made sure we had everything we needed, made excellent dining recommendations and answered every question we had. We had our 6-year-old with us and as soon as she stepped into the Kids Club/playroom she wanted to come back every day. Not only...

「We had a lovely stay at Barceló Funchal Old Town! The hotel was spotless, the staff were incredible, and the rooftop pool was a highlight. We loved being right in the heart of Funchal, just a short walk from the marina, restaurants, shops, atms, etc… and an easy ride to the airport. My only small complaint was that our room felt a little warm and humid at times. Everything else was wonderful, and I’d happily stay here again.」

「The location and views were amazing, but unfortunately, several aspects of our stay were disappointing.
There was an overwhelming smell of vinegar in the room, and the patio was covered in ants, which really detracted from the experience. We were also shocked to discover that pool towels cost €10. Charging guests extra for something as basic as a pool towel feels unreasonable and left a poor impression.
We can’t comment on the breakfast itself, as we had to check out before 7 a.m. We did,...
