The rice ran out ...who runs out of rice? Some staff were extremely friendly and organised other quite the opposite. Breakfast was quite shambolic with insufficient tables set for everyone and items continually running out. The options were very poor for such an expensive hotel. Sadly they don't need to...

Lots of walkers and cyclists, good atmosphere, comfortable room, sensibly priced and conveniently located in this special part of the world. 「The room was clean and the location convenient but it was difficult to find initially. There was no soap in the room or enough toilet roll so it would have been good to have been warned that I would need these. The shower head was broken. There was a kitchenette but an incomplete set of cutlery and limited crockery. At the cost of the room though I would have expected these things to be provided.」

「This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again 」

「Some of the positive reviews are likely from week-days. NEVER go here in the weekend. Your room is above the hotel's pub that makes your stay unbearable. It is not just people having a drink, but actively partying and shouting with a dj. This place should not be listed as a hotel. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. 」
