The man at check in was playing a game on his phone the entire time he checked us in. He didn't look up at us until the end to hand us the key. He wrote the room number and Wi-Fi password on a torn piece of paper. The entire hotel smelled terrible. We got to the room and the paint was pealing and the room smelled. We left an hour after we got there and got another hotel for the same price. This was the worst Motel 6 I have been to.

We booked 3 rooms. When we arrived, they had given away all of our rooms. They were turning away kids, families, couples. Non of us had a place to stay. There were no available rooms in the area under $1000. Motel 6 had our reservation. They could see our names, and said tough luck. No rooms for anyone. Never again Motel 6. They blamed Expedia but some of us booked directly, so it is clearly Motel 6

Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel was very disappointing due to the behavior of the front desk receptionist. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful when I arrived. Instead of trying to assist or explain the situation professionally, her attitude made the situation more stressful and unpleasant. I strongly recommend avoiding Expedia. Despite having a confirmed reservation and payment taken from my account, the hotel did not have a room available upon arrival. Expedia was unable to resolve the issue or guarantee my stay. What’s worse, Expedia representatives confirmed they spoke directly with the hotel receptionist, who stated there was no room for my reservation. Instead of providing a proper solution or refund, Expedia offered a small credit, which does not address the seriousness of the situation. If you value reliability and peace of mind when traveling, do not trust Expedia. There is no assurance that your reservation will be honored, and customer support is ineffective when problems arise.

They gave away rooms. We informed that our flight was late . They assured us they would have our room for us , when we got there, room was unavailable. We had to argue to get room. There were at least 20 people that had the same issue!

Very dimly lit parking lot, unkept front desk. Greeted...if you call it that, by hotel personal who was more focused on ensuring he was making his "moves" on the game he was playing on his phone during the entire check in process. Stopping multiple times to play his game mid check in....unorganized room key system. Dirty re-used key sleeves, with writing and highlighter all over them. Hallways need vaccuming, rank smell in hallways. Room was barely ok. Honestly, we are not very picky people but this place made our skin crawl...still paid 154.00 CAD. Not worth the money in the least.

Fortunately I booked ahead of time, but there were several families that were left without their rooms because the staff overbooked their rooms. The room was moldy and you could smell it in the air VERY much, so much that the next morning our clothes were humid and smelt like it too. The bathroom door knob fell off when I tried opening the bathroom. Contacted staff to see if we could get a refund or a new room and immediately said no.

This was the dirtiest and loudest hotel I’ve ever been to. It was so disgusting and smelly we decided to leave immediately as it generally seemed that our health was at risk for breathing the air. The hallways and staircases were soaked with urine based off the smell and our room had dried pee on the walls. Bedsheets had all manner of colored stains. We were denied a refund as well so clearly the management knows and doesn’t care. This is essentially a ripoff unless you risk your health. Don’t ever book this place no matter what you might think.
