It's great because the boardwalk and beach are only a 1/2 block away but you don't pay the the high prices you would have to stay at a hotel on the boardwalk.

Liked that it is walkable near the oceanfront and to Options of restaurants, family friendly boardwalk and activities. What I don’t like is we were place to a busy and loud street, where you can hear the people walking and talking and nonstop cars, my ear hurts and no peaceful sleep. The unit is ok.

the room had a strong smell of bleach. Window in the bedroom had frosting scraped off and it was connected to the laundry room. pool was dirty as well as patio area was dirty.

Swan Building: Check in took 55 minutes standing in line! Our room was dirty- specifically the shower seat. The room stayed humid, everything was wet, and we were hot the entire stay! The safe started beeping in our room when we were trying to go to bed, and it took 2 calls and over an hour to get someone there to fix it. We were also on the second floor with no elevators or assistance, so I had to carry our luggage up for a week long trip with my young daughter. It was rough! Breakfast was minimal.. and I wasn’t aware you had to ask for cups and tissues for the room. There was soap and lotion, but nothing else.

Only thing I liked was it’s low key. I don’t like that the shower clogged the ac kept shutting off and on my last day someone was having sex in the pool at 2am when I walked out my room to grab something from the car they have very hot water it wasn’t clean the shower had the last guest stuff still inside at the top the sheets had yellow stains etc but overall it’s good for the price you pay

check in was a nightmare and takes at least an hour. Room had no working light, sink full of dead bugs, and the bed collapsed in the middle as soon as I sat on it. Breakfast was inedible and there wasn’t even any coffee. Coffee maker in room but no coffee. Only decent thing is proximity to ocean

we get there before our time to check in and we made the line for 1 hour and half and they said they dont have room , we came back at 4 pm and they said we need to make the line again and the line was more longer than the first time ! no body help us and have to loose the money for reservation , so bad experience , i do not recomend any of this hotels ..

Get's the job done

The Hollywood Beach Swan is one of several motels owned by the same company. There is a central check in for all of the motels. Our check-in was swift and easy. The buildings are older. Our room was clean but basic. Two of the burners on the stove were crooked (but we weren't planning to use them anyway). The breakfast consisted of bagels, bread, hard-boiled eggs, etc. Nothing fancy, but it got the job done. The location is great--less than 5 minutes to the beach and they will rent you beach towels, chairs, etc. Not great, but not terrible--right in the middle. We'd stay there again--or check out one of other places.

Very rude and unprofessional people running this joint promise you for an early check-in and not letting you check in before four even after four actually, no closet space at all have to leave out of your suitcase no place to put your shampoo or conditioner or even soap you have to put it on the floor of the shower Very dated and dingy and very rude people that work there at the front desk, speaking foreign language and making fun of you. I felt like I was in a different country not in the USA.
