The check in office is located off the property. This office is for 10 or more hotels around the area and the check in process took more than an hour. The room was super dirty and a lot of strange activities around like drank people, dogs in the pool and loud music. If you want something more quiet and relaxing please avoid this area. We booked a suite with a king bed but it was the queen bed. The AC was too loud. Please be aware!

hotel catfish, pics look good but the room is horrible. everything is broken, loose or doesn’t work from the toilet, shower and both sinks, different knobs on all the stove dials, doors don’t shut etc… just avoid this place lmao

The location is perfect. It’s just steps away from (not directly on) the beach. It’s convenient to area attractions and the local nightlife. The atmosphere is great especially if you’re primarily spending your stay on the beach. You have the boardwalk with restaurants, souvenir shops, live entertainment, and nightlife entertainment. There isn’t much outside of the boardwalk but lots of things convenient by car. The rooms are decent. We had the apartment style room with a sitting area/sofa bed, cooktop, refrigerator, table and bench and separate bedroom. It accommodated our needs and the price was reasonable compared to other hotels close to the beach. The breakfast was meh. Just a bunch of breads and boiled eggs. The area itself is clean. The Hotel amenities, specifically the pool area, could use some attention. The pool did not appear to have chlorine and the lounge chairs were dirty with one area reeking of urine. My room was not cleaned during my 5 night stay although they stated it is done on day three. I also spent 20 minutes attempting to replace towels after a “count discrepancy” (yes you have to walk your towels over and they count before replacing) mind you we had to request an extra because it was 4 of us and they started us with just 3. Total inconvenience for someone trying to enjoy their vacation. It’s fairly peaceful and quiet outside of daytime/evening activities. Overall, I’d consider trying them again pending minor improvements to upkeep and process.

Beach within 1 block! Understaffed but those working are helpful. Property is confusing with several spread out buildings and pools. Location is very good. Beach walkway and restaurants very good experience.

Very well situated location. The beach and ocean can be sean from the balconies, depending what side you are on. The walk is barley half a block to the Bradwalk and beach, maybe a 1min walk. Building was older, but very clean and lovely staff. Very close to all the shopping, great food, live music and of course beach and bike path fun.

Beach view right from the door! Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was perfect. Staff was extra helpful. Wish the room had a broom, and some utencils but was easy enough to manage. Will be returning!

I recently booked a four‑night stay for my wife, our son, and myself at Hollywood Beach Hotels through a well‑known travel site. Our reservation was originally for the Del Mar location, but upon arrival we were disappointed to find that the room only had one bed and a pull‑out sofa that had definitely seen better days. We spoke with the manager, who was extremely accommodating and understanding. He quickly arranged for us to move to their Seaside location, which turned out to be exactly what we needed. The new room had two queen beds and was clean, comfortable, and equipped with a full kitchen. This was actually our second time staying at that exact Seaside property, and it reminded us why it’s our absolute favorite—close to the beach, well‑kept, and with a pool right on the property. Another highlight of our stay was the included breakfast. Donna, who manages the door during breakfast, deserves special recognition. She runs a tight ship in the best way possible—keeping the flow of guests smooth and organized—yet she’s incredibly warm and accommodating. She greeted everyone with genuine kindness and was a ray of sunshine every morning. The fact that she always made sure to save me an orange was such a thoughtful touch that truly made our mornings brighter. Overall, despite the initial hiccup, our stay ended up being wonderful thanks to the helpful staff and the great experience at the Seaside location. We’ll definitely be returning.

Many amenities listed, they didn’t have. It says ocean view and we didn’t have that. There was a family with a small child above us that would run, jump, and stomp around from 8am till 11pm. We called several times and the front desk would send someone but it would still happen every night. The front office was not where the hotel was so you had to take all of your luggage around to a busy road. The free breakfast was awful. They had barely anything and it was so busy people were fighting just to get food. We made the best of it but we would not stay here again.
