Lake Como by rail and ferry

Great b&b hotel in a beautiful location up the hill above the villa melzi just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the village but still walkable. Rooms, service and breakfast all fantastic.

It is located in a historical area of Florence. Duomo is about .4 miles away and 7-8 minute walk. Very safe except for the sirens of the policia which I would rather have over quiet crimes. The beds were so comfortable and doesn’t move when you toss and turn. Water in the fridge was so affordable in case you need to use their supply compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Hosts Guilia and Fabio are so kind and very attentive. We left early when we checked out and Guilia made sure we get our morning treats the night before ao we don’t need to look for food for breakfast and waste our time falling in line at restaurants. My sister Gigi and I were so happy to have stayed in this quaint hotel.

Great stay with fantastic breakfast

We had a lovely stay at this B&B which is a 15 minute walk away from Florence Santa Maria Novella Train Station. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and breakfast included which was exceptional and our favourite breakfast of our trip. There was a great selection and you could choose each day what you would like from the menu and it would be delivered outside your door at 8.30am to have in your room. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Very pleased!

Really clean and spacious hotel. Our room was cleaned every day. Nice distance to main sites in the city but also very quiet and away from all the tourists. My only complaint is that the reception desk is only staffed from about 8-12 then nobody is available after that. Otherwise I would say it’s the perfect place to stay.

The room was big and very comfortable. Both the room and the bathroom were clean. The location is great, close to the main touristic sites but not too close so there is no noise at night or in the morning. Good service too! The breakfast is pretty decent, they have bread, pastries, yogurt, orange juice and fruit. We had to leave early on our last day and they made us breakfast a bit earlier than the usual, so that was really nice. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a very nice stay here. We easily coordinated the checkin. The room was clean and a very nice size. The bed was comfortable. This is an easy walk to the center of town with plenty of nice dining options around and a very good cafe downstairs.
