"Staff was all easy to talk to ,very helpful, had a single room number 1 ,nice size room could have had a small double bed and still have room ,breakfast was all good and cooked the way you wanted it ,would stay again"

"We had a great stay. Good sized twin bedded room with nice little outside sitting area overlooking the river. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. Parking was £5 per night which was fine as the hotel is well located an easy 10 minute walk from the cathedral and town centre."

"This is such a charming inn that has been around for over 800 years, which means you are in an old building with no lift and small, winding hallways. These features add to the charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable. My son slept on a sleeper sofa that had the best mattress I've ever seen on a sofa bed and the towels were the softest I've ever had. There's a nice continental breakfast and the cooked to order breakfast was delicious! We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and it too was super yummy. The location was perfect for exploring Salisbury. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Salisbury."

However, staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly when we were looking for a table for 6 at breakfast when the staff went out of their way to oblige, despite the fact that the hotel was otherwise full of MGT owners for their two days away."
