「We had a lovely stay at Tor Na Coille Hotel & Restaurant. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious, and the staff were welcoming. We dined in the restaurant and I had the steak burger with a side of pepper sauce — it was really tasty, and the chef was great at explaining how they could adapt other dishes for gluten-free too. 「After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. 」

「Staff were incredibly nice and helpful, especially Fay (hopefully I've spelt her name correctly). Food is brilliant and the bar area is such a nice place sit. Only thing I would maybe say is the lighting in the restaurant is quite bright but that is being a bit pernickety. I would highly recommend staying there. I very much doubt you'll find better in the area. 」
