「Outstanding service from start to finish from manager Chris and entire team. We were with our 1-yr-old, who has a dairy allergy, and they could not have been more accommodating - also provided a cot. Pub itself very welcoming, traditional but with some modern styling. Rooms were comfortable, with thoughtful touches. Excellent table service breakfast, pre-ordered the night before. Dinner the night before nice if maybe a little overpriced. 「Great relaxed friendly atmosphere, open fire lounge, good selection of drinks. Not a massive food menu, but, and i make no bones about this, The Bridge burgers are probably amongst the best youll ever experience, as someone who eats probably close to a hundred burgers a year, trust me youll not be disappointed. Excellent fresh breakfast good quality meat. The room was decent, clean and slept like id been punched by Tyson! Beautiful area to explore, located in town too. Most definitely will stay...

「Fantasy food, make sure you get dinner and breakfast here. Staff were lovely too. Cabins and hot tubs were great. WiFi not possible in the cabins and no phone signal so you have to switch off!」

「This old coaching inn has been well revamped, service is first class. The food was excellent with good response to individual needs. Although pricey the rooms were up to a high standard. The roll top bath, with no screen, was a triumph of design over functionality. There was nowhere to put the soap! Having a shower without flooding the floor was tricky. The Chef produced first class dishes on every occasion. 」

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Lion . We had our own car parking space . The breakfast was outstanding . Very hot plenty of it and delicious. The only downside was they didn’t do meals in the evening. But they are ready to recommend places that do great meals ie The Old Castle. We would definitely stay there again.」
