「Beautiful lake front property that includes a great extensive breakfast. Staff was so courteous, I felt pampered and at home.」

「The room was clean and nice enough, but the view of the lake was obstructed by an adjacent building. The gardens were not very impressive and the pool and hot tub were not good. The exercise equipment and "arcade" were basically a few pieces in an outdoor storage area. The staff and owners were very nice and helpful. You can take a ferry from Stresa to Islo Bella, which is very nice, but parking is difficult and it is very crowded. 」

「Loved the hotel, surrounded by beautiful rose bushes! Stayed in room 341 with gorgeous lake view. Breakfast was great. The only thing is that's about a 20 minute walk to Stresa, however, the walk is beautiful along the lake. Highly recommend.」

「Had the potential to be great, but the bathroom had a leak. We reported it and the response was that we had the shower curtain on the outside of the bath, which was of course was nonsense. Our mistake - we assumed we’d be able to get a taxi or uber from train station to hotel but no. The hotel organised the tourist train to collect us, which was good. Getting to the station on checkout was an issue - in the end the hotel organised a taxi from another town to take us the 10minute drive at a cost...
