「A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond. 「We all had a great stay at Thistle Lodge. Very clean and well presented. The open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area was great for our family trip of 4 adults. A bonus was the outdoor gated patio, felt like a sense of security for our Labrador. Great base for exploring Perthshire. Will definitely return in the near future. 」
