"We stayed here because we knew the location was ideal for downtown Lisbon. The rooftop bar was also a big appeal. The staff in the main part of the hotel were fantastic, the rooftop bar staff were a bit grumpy especially when we started asking for photo's at 11pm :) Maybe they had had a long / tough day! Anyway, it didn't bother us too much. The staff in the main bar/restaurant were awesome and drink service at table-side reminds me of fantastic days gone-by! I missed the fact the Mundial doesn't have a gym and there are major upgrades and renovations ongoing. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't get one of the modified rooms but whilst ours was dated, it was very spacious and comfy with a nice view of Sao Jorge castle. We would stay here again for sure simply because the location is perfect for pretty much everything you want to do in and around Lisbon area. The view of the Castle from the bar is unbeaten!"

"We had recently stayed at the GA Palace hotel in Porto and Editory in Lisbon was a 1night stop over before heading home. Location was great as we exited the train from Porto and straight into our hotel. (1 min walk!). The hotel which was more expensive than the GA isnt close to it in quality or standards. I am sure if we hadn't stayed at the GA the Editory would have been fine but it was expensive for what we got! If you;re coming off the train and want something close to walk to - this is it, else i would look elsewhere even across the street into Alfama some nice Boutique hotels. Depends on how much luggage you have to carry! We wouldn't stay at the Editory next time. Not at the price we paid anyway!"

"I loved this proximity of the hotel. Easy walk to Commercio square, Rossio Square and Alfama. Breakfast was very good with a variety of foods. Very friendly, helpful service. My husband felt the A/C was very noisy and rattling at night. We could also easily hear people walking above us."

"This place was perfect right in the hub of the downtown of Lisbon, has a good amount of shared washrooms. Was never waiting, and every time was nice and clean, just a bit smelly but what can you do lol. Rooms were also clean with a small balcony which is always a nice bonus, we stayed on the town square side, and was a beautiful view! Breakfast was delicious everything I needed and more, simple but perfect has everything you could ask for not to mention it was included which is amazing. Only stayed the one night but was everything me and my partner needed, and the front desk staff are extremely friendly, gave us recommendations for places to eat, and when checking out let us keep are bags behind the desk so we could continue exploring without the hassle of lugging around are packs. Thank you again!"

"This hotel is astonishing from the museum, the staff, the food and beautiful rooms. Every member of staff was helpful in providing insight on places to see, how to get around and overall recommendations. The hotel is also in walking distance from the shops and restaurants. This is an absolute must visit."
