"Lovely hotel. Much better than the pictures. Don't be mislead by the photos of the lobby. Hotel is modern, quite big, well maintained, great amenities, good location, with lovely and kind staff. I was expecting a family run small boutique-ish hotel with a few suites, but no... much more to it than you see at first glance. The only thing that I hope they change, are the towels that are leaning towards the tired side. Will probably be our go to hotel in Lisbon from now on."

"The staff helped us secure a day trip to Sintra that really made the trip memorable. Everyone was friendly and really made us feel welcome. They even helped us book our train tickets to Porto! I really enjoyed the location and charm of this hotel. We did the breakfast every morning and I thought the food was great. Eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection. The waffles and pancakes were sweet and tasty. Fresh fruit, pastries, and fresh juices were available every morning. Alfama really comes alive once the sun goes down. Lots of cafes and restaurants appear out of nowhere! Note: the area is SUPER HILLY and VERY STEEP! But that’s part of the charm 😄 I was traveling with 4 people who are 70+, they struggled walking around the cobbled streets of Alfama."

"The property was modern. I also appreciated the attention to green living principles. The biggest issue was the size of my room. We stayed at the Tivoli Hotel prior for a few nights which was about a mile away but wanted to try something new. Compared to the Tivoli, this was a downgrade. The hotel advertises that they are right near everything. Yes, this is true, but who wants to be near Times Square? I could do without the traffic and all the people. The room I stayed in was super small but very comfortable. There was attention to details like fresh water, quality toiletry products and comfortable bed linens. I jammed my toe (it bleed) opening the shower door (the only way it would work) and the water from the shower flowed to the floor. There just was no room to move around. My husband and I joked that it was like the Marx Bros movie A Night at the Opera. Needless to say, if all you want is a modern place to crash near the touristy areas, this might be for you. When I come again, I will stay at the Tivoli or in Principle Real which is more upscale and less touristy."
