「Worked well room great」

「The hotel is new & the staff friendly. It’s a shame you have to pay for parking & get tea/coffee/water from outside the room. There was also a flashing light behind the TV, which impacted sleep.」

「Left stranded outside the hotel after staff forgot to leave keys, after confirming directly with the hotel manager that we would be arriving late. We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full. I called earlier in the day to confirm, and they gave me the lockbox location and code, but upon arrival by taxi (after midnight) there were no keys in the box, leaving us alone outside with no car. I’ve requested a refund from the hotel but they have not responded - I...

All the staff very friendly including the owners. Within walking distance of Sidmouth town and the Sea. Can't wait for our next visit」

「The room was very clean and well furnished, rather warm but without air conditioning it would be in this unprecedented heat. Needed more room in bathroom to put out toiletries . The hotel staff were both helpful, friendly and professional. The Jubilee room was a great setting for breakfast , due to timescales ie booking in and out we were unable to use amenities and 1 nights stay is just not long enough. We will be booking longer next time. Pure Luxury and well worth the money.」

「The location was very good. The double room booked was very small with a smaller than average double bed. Most disappointing was the very stained and dirty looking carpet. The bedding and towels were good quality and the new bathroom was nice with a good hot shower. The carpet spoiled the whole experience for me」

Room was clean and comfortable with the expected basics provided. Staff were helpful and informative and keen to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a served full English which can be adapted to suit individual needs. All in all, I would recommend this hotel and I look forward to staying here again.」

「Lovely staff, spotless hotel, and superb seafront location. Even our dog was given a breakfast sausage. Very friendly and welcoming. My only concern was that the hotel is advertised as having parking. Technically yes this is correct but it’s extremely limited and we were told it’s not available after booking.」
