Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. 「Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast 」

「Martin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent. Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden. Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended.」
