"The hostel, the staff and the breakfast they provide is all great!
What’s let it down is the tour I booked with them to the pyramids. Firstly I was booked onto a tour to see multiple pyramids when in fact I’d just wanted to see the Giza pyramids and sphinx, maybe there had been some miscommunication.
Firstly on the Giza pyramids part of the tour I was unexpectedly taken to a dodgy looking guide centre outside of the Giza site and pressured to pay "

"It’s a good and affordable place to stay, traditional breakfast and amazing people
The mattress is a little bit to hard but for a few hours and days we could survive. "

"I can’t say enough good things about the state we had at the Cairo Marriott hotel. I unfortunately had a fall the day before a tour was supposed to start, and we had to book additional nights. The staff went out of their way to help us. They went above and beyond in helping us. This would start with them seeing me arrive in a wheelchair and giving us a room that would be more comfortable given my injury, to the next morning Ali Yousef, who was from the house, cleaning staff, seeing the injury and letting us know there was a doctor on staff who could come and see me. Because of Ali‘s help, I was able to get in for emergency surgery within 12 hours. After surgery, everyone went out of their way to help, this included, Clara, Maria, Nadine, and others at the concierge desk. In the lounge, Behairy, Mousad and Mounir, and many others, truly the entire lounge staff, would ensure that I was taken care of. In the hair salon, they were able to wash my hair, which I couldn’t do on my own. For 12 days, under what were very difficult circumstances, everyone was as kind and as good as could be. I went to the hotel, knowing no one, and left with a new family. On top of all that, the hotel itself is beautiful, and we were able to do the tour of it while I was recuperating. Our room was wonderful, and the food very good."
"Staff was just amazing, very well trained in hospitality, eyes always on your face only, respectful distance and excellent manners. The room was very clean and fresh. Room service and laundry services were also top class, "
"wonderful experience at this hotel. The service was exceptional from start to finish, the room was comfortable and beautifully kept, and every staff member went above and beyond to make my stay perfect."
"Highly recommend but makes sure you get the room you want. Expedia lists a private bath on one of their garden rooms, but it does not have the private bath. It must say private bath on the confirmation from the hotel."
"Service was great. Breakfast was a terrific buffet. Staff took good care of us. The room was clean. some stuff needed repair, and something really confused me. I asked to extend my stay, and the front desk person told me they were sold out. I went up to my room and booked it on Expedia, and came back downstairs and the very same person extended my stay....... very odd."
